How to Set the DVR for Verizon FiOS With a Mobile Phone
Verizon FiOS TV is a fiber optic-delivered cable TV service provided by the Verizon communications company. Among the top features advertised with FiOS TV service is the expanded DVR management capability FiOS TV customers may enjoy at no additional charge. FiOS TV customers can manage their DVR, scheduling recordings and perform other operations from any computer with an active Internet connection, and from any mobile phone with an active Web browsing feature. Go to the Verizon FiOS TV Central Web page.

Find the "Register Now" link in the "Sign In" section, and click it.

Follow the prompts to complete your registration. You'll be asked to supply your Verizon phone number; provide your Verizon FiOS account number, and the last amount you paid on your Verizon account. You'll then be prompted to create an account profile. Once the registration process is complete, it generally takes between 24 to 48 hours for the account to be activated.

Turn on the mobile phone. Go to the phone Menu options, and open the Web browsing feature.

Enter the Verizon FiOS TV Remote DVR website address for mobile phones in the browser's address bar. (Click on the "Mobile Verizon FiOS TV" link in the Resources to view the Verizon FiOS TV Remote DVR website address).

Select "Record Shows" from the FiOS TV Central menu. You'll be prompted to enter your FiOS TV Central account credentials. Enter your credentials to sign into your account.

Locate and choose the program you want to schedule a recording for, just as you would if you were performing the operation from your TV. For example, one way to locate the program you want to record is to perform a keyword search. Select the program title in the results. A list of the selected show's airtimes will appear. Select the broadcast you want to record. Choose your record option such as "Record series."

Tips & Warnings
There's also an iPhone app available for the FiOS DVR Manager. Using the app will give you quick access to FiOS DVR Manager from your iPhone. To install it, go to the iPhone's app store. Conduct a search for "FiOS." Select "Verizon FiOS DVR Manager" in the search results, and install the FiOS app for free.
