How to Find Ringtones on a BlackBerry Curve

Finding ringtones on your BlackBerry Curve is easy.

Customizing ringtones to play distinctive melodies or songs for specific contacts in your address book helps to easily identify incoming callers. Some ringtones come preinstalled on BlackBerry Curve mobile phones, while you can download others from the Internet. Follow a few short steps to locate ringtones on your Curve device.

Instructions

1. Roll the track ball or pad on your BlackBerry Curve to illuminate the main menu screen. Scroll and locate the "Media" folder (resembles a folder icon with a small triangle on some phone models). Highlight the folder and tap the track ball or pad.

2. Scroll to the "Ringtones" folder (resembles a phone icon playing musical notes on some phone models) and tap the track ball or pad.

3. Press "All Ring Tones" or a similarly named choice, to view a list of all preinstalled and downloaded ringtones on your BlackBerry phone. Choose "My Ring Tones" or a similarly named option to see a list of downloaded ringtones only.
