How to Adjust My Browser Settings

Your browser is your window to the Web. In addition to allowing you to view the Web, your browser has dozens of functions to make your surfing experience efficient, secure and easy. Many of these functions are controlled by your browser settings. You can adjust pop-up blocking, security, history and add-ons. Adjusting your browser settings takes a few moments.

      Launch your browser.

      Click the "Tools" drop-down menu from the main menu bar.

      Click "Internet Options" if you are using Internet Explorer or "Options" if you are using Firefox. Click the small wrench icon in Google Chrome. Use the tabs on top of the window to see the various settings you can change. Adjust settings using the check boxes or drop-down menus and click "OK" when you are done.

      Restart your browser when you are finished adjusting your browser settings.
