How to Mount ISO Files

ISO files are disk image files formatted on an ISO-9600 standard. ISO files are duplicate copies of data from a CD or a DVD disc. People use ISO files to backup or store CDs and DVDS since all of the data on the discs are the exact copies, which they can restore by mounting the ISO on a virtual drive. Mounting an ISO file is similar to inserting a physical CD or DVD into a CD-ROM drive. You can mount ISO files by downloading disk utility software online.
