Instructions

    • 1

Apply Spirit Gum adhesive to the area of flesh on which you will be placing the bullet hole. Choose an area that will not move too much due to facial expressions as this will ensure the bullet hole stays in place. Give the Spirit Gum time to get tacky.

    • 2

Rub some cold cream on your fingers to protect them from the Derma Wax, then scoop out a small portion and roll it into a ball. When finished, the ball should be about the same size as a pea.

    • 3

Stick the wax pellet into the center of your Spirit Gum base and blend the edges into the skin. If done correctly, your subject will appear to have a massive pimple.

    • 4

Press the eraser end of a pencil or similar object directly into the center of the bullet hole. You can use the pencil to carve out the desired shape and size of the hole.

    • 5

Seal the bullet hole with a thin layer of liquid latex. Liquid latex will help secure the makeup as well as soften the lines between the wax and real skin.

    • 6

Cover the hole with makeup and a bit of fake blood to finish the effect.
