How to Put MSN Messaging Back on My Toolbar

MSN Messenger is an instant-messaging program developed by Microsoft. It has endured several upgrades and changes over its lifetime and is used for communicating with contacts, sharing files and playing games. If you are a regular user of MSN Messenger, you may wish to add it to your computer's Quick Launch toolbar at the bottom of your screen.

Instructions

1. Turn your computer on, and wait until it loads.

2. Ensure you have MSN Messenger installed. If not, download it from the Microsoft homepage and install it by following the on-screen instructions.

3. Locate MSN Messenger either on your desktop or under the Programs tab of your Start menu.

4. Click and hold the "Messenger" icon, and drag it to the Quick Launch toolbar at the bottom of your screen.

Tips & Warnings

• If your Quick Launch toolbar includes many programs, MSN Messenger may not be visible. To remove rarely used programs from the toolbar, right-click on them and click the "Delete" option. The program will only be removed from the toolbar and not the computer. You can also click and hold Quick Launch toolbar programs and drag them into the order you prefer.
