How to Remove a 2000 Jetta Center Console
The center console on the Volkswagen Jetta is separated into two parts: the main console and extension behind the console. It's possible to remove either one of these parts on the 2000 model without removing the other. You will likely need to remove the center console if you have to disassemble the instrument panel. Removing both parts of the console will make it easier to vacuum and clean the car's interior and carpeting.
