How to Increase and Adjust the Height of Insoles

How to Increase and Adjust the Height of Insoles thumbnail
Ordinary insoles don't give you height, but adjustable ones can.

Many of us with short stature wish for more height, and some of us even wear shoes with taller heels to provide the illusion of a taller frame. Now there are other ways to achieve more height besides wearing shoes with obvious heels. Insoles with adjustable heighteners can give us the illusion of height in shoes that normally don't make us appear taller.

Instructions

    • 1

Purchase adjustable insoles that come with different height settings, such as low, medium and high. Height increase can be set to 1.5 inches, 2 inches or even 2.5 inches.

    • 2

Remove the insole from an old shoe.

    • 3

Place the old insole on top of the adjustable insole form.

    • 4

Cut the adjustable insole so that it matches the size of your old insole. Because adjustable insoles come in one-size-fits-all, you must cut it to match your own foot size. Repeat process with the other insole.

    • 5

Place the adjustable insole inside of a shoe to make sure it fits.

    • 6

Decide what height adjustment you want.

    • 7

Place more heighteners onto the bottom of the adjustable insole to build-up height. Heighteners lock into place easily and pop off again so that you can use them repeatedly to raise or lower your height in any shoe.
