Most mobile phone service providers offer voicemail to subscribers as part of their service. Callers can leave you a short voice message that can be retrieved by you at a later time. If you are unable to answer your phone or do not wish to be disturbed, you can forward your calls straight to voicemail. Calls can be ignored or forwarded directly to your voicemail.

Instructions

      Wait for a call to come in on your mobile phone.

      Review the caller information on your screen to determine if you want to send the caller directly to your voicemail.

      Press the "Ignore" or "Decline" button on your mobile phone. The caller will be redirected to the voicemail.

    Call Forwarding

      Press the "Menu" key on your mobile phone and select "Settings."

      Select "Call Settings" and highlight "Call Forwarding." Press the "OK" key. Depending on the model of your mobile phone, you may need to select "Security" to access the call settings.

      Select "Call Forwarding" and click "Always Forward." Your voicemail number should be the default number. Click "OK" or select "Enable." All calls will be automatically forwarded to your voicemail.

Tips & Warnings

  • Calls can also be directed immediately straight to voicemail by turning off your mobile phone.
