Instructions

    • 1

Buy a European model of the PIXMA iP4000. The European model of the PIXMA iP4000 allows you to print directly onto compatible CDs and DVDs. The American model of the PIXMA iP4000 does not include this capability.

Buy a printable CD-R. Note that only printable CDs compatible with an inkjet printer will work. Read the label on the CD's packet and check it is compatible with the Canon iP4000 before buying.

    • 3

Launch a CD label printing program. Canon includes the CD-LabelPrint software with the printer. You can also download the latest version of CD-LabelPrint at Canon's support website (see Resources).

    • 4

Create a design with the CD label printing software. Introduce the printable CD into the CD slot and press print.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you don't have a printable CD, you can use a normal CD and stick a label on it.
