Toyota Previa Rear Side Light Removal

If you need to replace one of the rear lights on your Toyota Previa, the tail light assembly will have to be removed as that is where all of the lights are contained. Removing the tail light assembly from your Previa is fairly simple and only requires the use of a Phillips head screwdriver to do. The entire process takes only about 10 minutes.

      Park the Previa on a level, paved surface and remove the keys from the ignition. Switch the headlamp control to the "Off" position.

      Open the rear door and locate the latch on the inside of the vehicle, directly behind the tail lamp assembly. Use a flat head screwdriver to pry the latch off of the vehicle. This will reveal two screws underneath.

      Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two tail light assembly retaining screws. Pull the tail light assembly out of the vehicle and remove the bulb socket that needs to be replaced.
