How Do You Attach Files to an E-mail?

One of the main advantages of e-mail is that it is quick and efficient. An e-mail consists of two sections: the header and the content. The header usually contains one or more recipient's e-mail addresses, along with other technical information. The content contains the body or message of the e-mail. In addition to sending a message, you can also attach files to an e-mail. Any type of file can be attached to an e-mail.

Instructions

    • 1

Log in into your e-mail account.

    • 2

Click on "Compose" and enter the recipient's address. Click on "Attach."

    • 3

Choose the file from the window that opens. If the file you are trying to attach is an executable file, convert it into a ZIP file. Most e-mail systems won't accept e-mail with an executable file attached.

    • 4

Click "OK" and the file will get attached. Repeat the same process again to attach more files.
