How to Send eBooks
There are several ways in which you can send eBooks. You can send and sell eBooks you have written, which is also a way for an author to keep control of their own content. Or you can be a publisher of other people's eBooks -- and your own. Either way you will need a website to send and sell your eBooks from. You can also mail your eBooks by post, on DVDs or CDs. As an alternative, you can become an affiliate of another website such as Amazon. You can also use them to send and sell your eBook and get sales for it by promoting it on your own website and blog.

1
Select the prices for your eBook, after checking the prices of your competitors. If you see a popular publisher selling an eBook about pet welfare and you are thinking of selling an eBook on a similar subject, then try to undercut their price. People are more likely to buy the book from the popular publisher if your price is the same as theirs -- even if your book has a lot more content.

2
Decide how you want to sell your eBook. You can allow people to pay to download a complete eBook, or you can allow them to download a chapter or a part of the book for free. This will give a customer a good idea of the book's contents before deciding whether they wish to buy the book or not. You can have your eBooks put onto a CD or DVD, and add additional, slightly different, content to both.

Pick the ways you want to accept payment for the eBooks you are selling. PayPal is an easy method to set up, but credit cards are still the preferred method of payment on websites. ClickBank is a company that can assist you in setting up your site for accepting credit cards, and they then take a commission when you begin to get sales via credit cards.

Prepare the ways for how your customer can receive your eBook. Test your website, and make sure that the customer will be able to download your eBooks successfully. If sending eBooks out on CD or DVD, then you will need to have specially padded envelopes to send them in. Also remember to put in a price list or catalogue of your eBooks.

Tips & Warnings
To maximize your potential earnings, you should combine selling your own eBooks with affiliate links, as well as making your eBooks available in both DVD and CD format. The more books available, the more visitors your website will get.
Make sure that your site is totally secure if you are accepting credit cards and are setting up that payment method without the aid of another company. Any problems in that area could damage your reputation and deter people from coming back to your website again.
Proofread thoroughly all books you publish. A lot of errors in any book you send will just look amateurish.
