How to Send Letters to North Pole, Alaska
Sending letters to Santa in North Pole, Alaska, and even receiving a reply, is easier than you might imagine. Since 1954, volunteers with the Santa's Mailbag organization have answered thousands of letters from children around the world. According to the "Fairbanks Daily News-Miner," North Pole, Alaska, received more than 100,000 pieces of mail for Santa from around the world in 2009, and volunteers were able to answer about 13,000 of those. On a mailing envelope, address the letter for Santa to:

North Pole, AK 99705

Write your return address in the upper-left corner, and affix first-class postage to the upper-right corner of the envelope.

Put the letter in the envelope and mail it via the U.S. Postal Service. Send the letter well in advance of Dec. 25 to increase your child's chances of receiving a reply from Santa.
