      Scrape your windshield and brush off all excess snow. Make sure the windshield is clear of debris and relatively dry.

      Split one of the garbage bags down the sides, leaving the bottom intact.

      Place the bag across the surface of the windshield. If possible, wrap the bag ties around your mirrors for a secure fit, or use a bit of clear packing tape to keep the bag in place.
