1
Use the artificial grass in lieu of carpets or rugs. For example, cut a large piece with an utility knife and create a large throw rug for your living room. Similarly, measure the length and width or your hallway floor, and cut a runner made of synthetic grass to those dimensions.

2
Use the artificial grass at your dining table. Cut pieces of artificial grass to the size of a place mat, roughly 9.5 inches by 14 inches, and use them to enhance your dishes. Cut another long piece of artificial grass to the dimensions of a standard table runner, approximately 70 inches by 28 inches, if you want a bolder look.

Measure the length and width of a single wall in your living room or bedroom, and cut a piece of artificial grass to the size of that wall. Nail the synthetic grass tautly against the wall to create an accent wall. This is a suitable alternative to painting.
