Download and install the free VSO video converter. The installation should finish in a few minutes.

Open VSO. Check the folder icon next to the "Source File" field. Click the "Browse" button to locate the file you want to convert. Click "Open."

Choose the destination folder by clicking the small folder icon beside the input field. Leave the aspect ratio and frame rates at their default settings.

Press the "Convert" button and wait for the encoding graph to appear. Depending on file size, the conversion can take up to several hours to complete.
