How to Verify SSL Certificates
Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a security protocol that Web servers and Web browsers use to protect Internet users when transferring data on the Internet. For instance, some websites use SSL encryption when you make a payment online to protect your credit or debit card information. In some cases, websites that display an SSL certificate and claim to use SSL encryption to protect your data don't really provide such protection. If you are doubtful about the validity of a website's SSL certificate, you can verify it by using an online SSL checker.
