How to Write an Advertising Essay
Advertising is everywhere: radio, television, magazines, newspapers, billboards and on the Internet. "Advertising is any form of paid representation of ideas so as to persuade the audience to take an action by viewing the particular advertising." In short, advertising gets people to buy things by influencing their spending habits. Advertising essays are designed to do exactly that and there are courses designed to teach people how to write these sorts of promotions.

1
Determine your audience. Identify your target audience. If you are pitching buying a condo in a new retirement development to seniors, you will adopt a more sedate tone than if you are trying to get the attention of teenagers about a new computer program. Use adjectives to describe the product or service.

Tennis racket Focus on your topic. If you are writing a piece about the latest tennis rackets don't discuss tennis balls unless there is a logical reason to introduce a second idea. Stick to the rackets.

4
Talk to your reader. Develop relevant issues. Talk to your reader about why they should be interested in the particular brand or product you are writing about. Confide in them and convince them it is in their best interest to buy a this particular body lotion rather than another one.
-
5
Proofread Proofread your work. After writing your advertising essay, leave it for at least 24 hours. Then go back to it and check for typos, grammar and sentence structure.
-
6
Second opinion Get a second opinion. It is a good idea to have another person who writes well review your work. When you get too close to an advertising essay it is difficult to see mistakes that will jump out at someone else.
