How to Use Zeno Hot Spot to Treat Teen Acne
Zeno Hot Spot, created by Zeno Corporation is a thermal-based blemish device designed to destroy the acne-causing bacteria found inside a pimple, with heat. Using the Zeno Hot Spot

Remove dirt and oils from the skin before using the Zeno Hot Spot. Cleanse your face with a gentle, non-abrasive facial cleanser.

Use a clean cloth to make sure facial skin is completely dry before using the Zeno Hot Spot. Rinse cleanser from the face and dry skin completely.

Remove the cap from the Zeno Hot Spot Unit and activate the device by pressing the square power button in the center of the unit. A beep will sound indicating the treatment has started.

The Zeno Hot Spot makes indicator beeps at 30-second intervals. Locate the blemish for treatment with a mirror and place the round metal treatment tip directly on the blemish. Hold the treatment tip on the pimple through the complete 2 1/2 minute cycle. A beep will sound every 30 seconds to let you know where you are in the cycle and the unit should start to warm but never get uncomfortably hot.

Using enlarging makeup mirror, will make it easier to find the newly forming pimples. Remove the treatment tip from the blemish when you hear a multi-beep noise, indicating the treatment cycle is over. Follow the same procedure with the next blemish you see until all pimples are treated.

Periodic inspection of your skin thoroughout the day will help identify acne early for treatment. Transport the Zeno Hot Spot unit in your purse or backpack for on-the spot treatments. Zeno is most effective when used on newly forming pimples. Check skin in any mirror during your lunch break for new outbreaks.

Cleansing the blemish before treatment will help keep the Zeno Hot Spot treatment tip clean. Cleanse any blemishes with a small amount of soap and water or a wet wipe.

Dry the area and treat any existing pimples that haven't faded. Follow up the process before bed in the evening to completely get rid of the pimple.

Propionibacterium acnes bacteria is typically found on everyone's skin and will cause acne when it becomes trapped in the pores by excess oil and dead skin cells. The Zeno Hot Spot should be used in conjunction with and not in place of, an effective skin cleaning routine. Treating blemishes as they appear will reduce healing time and potential for acne scarring.
Not all acne is simple to clear up, notes Skin Care Physicians and the Zeno Hot Spot does not dissolve stubborn acne cysts that may be a sign of another underlying health problem. If acne does not respond to initial over-the-counter treatment, consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment.
