How to Replace Fog Lights on a 2003 Acura RSX

Fog lights are available on many vehicles, including the 2003 Acura RSX manufactured by Honda. Adjustments can be made on the fog lights, just like the main headlights for the vehicle. This means that a light that is out will need to have the bulb replaced. When handling the new bulb, use gloves or hold it with a cloth to avoid touching it with your bare hands; otherwise, the oils from your skin will shorten the life of the bulb.

Things You'll Need

• Phillips head screwdriver

Instructions

1. Locate the two screws on the side of the headlamp assembly. Turn the screws counterclockwise with a Phillips head screwdriver to remove them.

2. Pull the fog light out of the bumper to expose the electrical wiring.

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb.

4. Turn the bulb counterclockwise and pull it out of the fog light assembly.

5. Insert a new bulb into the fog light assembly. Turn the bulb clockwise to lock it in place.

6. Re-connect the electrical connector to the bulb.

7. Insert the fog light assembly back into the bumper and tighten the screws.
