How to Update a Volvo Navigation System
When purchasing a Volvo vehicle, drivers often have the option to add extra features, such as a GPS navigation system. The Volvo navigation system assists drivers with turn-by-turn directions to almost any North American destination. It also provides a points-of-interest database full of locations such as banks, lodging and gas stations. The maps and points of interest can be updated by purchasing a map update DVD from the Navteq online store.
