How to Make Business Card Templates in Word
You can put your personal stamp on business cards by making them in a Microsoft Word template. With Word, you can create cards quickly and easily.

Open Microsoft Word. Click the "File" tab and select "New." Double-click the "Business cards" button on the "Available Templates" screen. Double-click the "Print business cards" file folder.

Scroll through the business card templates for an idea of the different images, colors and styles. Double-click a template and a page of the cards opens in a new Word window.

Click the cursor into the top-left business card on the page. Highlight the placeholder name on the card and type the new one. Highlight and replace the placeholder boxes for company name, title, address, phone number, email address, website, fax number and any other ways people can contact you.

Highlight the new text and click the "Home" tab at the top of the screen. Use the options in the "Font" section of the ribbon/toolbar to change the text's appearance, such as formatting it to your organization's style guide or branding preferences.

Click the "Insert" tab at the top of the screen. Select the "Picture" button below the tab. Browse to a digital logo for the business card and double-click the file name. When the logo opens, press and hold down the "Shift" key, click a corner of the image and shrink it into size. Drag it into place on the business card.

Highlight all of the new lines of text and the logo on the business card. Press the "Ctrl" and "C" keys together on the keyboard to copy. Highlight the next placeholder business card on the page. Press the "Ctrl" and "V" keys together on the keyboard to paste in the new card template. Repeat to paste over all of the cards on the page.

Click the "File" tab and select "Save As." Type a name for the business card file and save it to the computer.
