How to Make Shortcuts in Windows Mobile 6

Shortcuts in Windows Mobile 6 allow you to easily access programs without having to search for them. Creating shortcuts in Windows Mobile 6 requires you to find the file you want to create a shortcut for, copy it and paste the shortcut in the location you wish to. Doing so allows you to place the shortcut in a location where you can remember where it is, making it easy for you to access the program.

Instructions

1. Navigate to the file you want to create a shortcut for. Take the stylus and tap the file and hold it in place. Select "Copy" from the menu that appears.

2. Navigate to the location where you want to place the shortcut. Take the stylus and tap a blank space on the area where you want to place the shortcut.

3. Hold the stylus in place and select "Paste Shortcut" from the menu that appears.

Tips & Warnings

• Placing shortcuts in the StartUp directory causes them to start when the device is booted.
