How to Install Reason 4 Without CDs on a PC Using Daemon Tools

If you have a netbook, you will not be able to install software, such as Reason 4, using CDs. If you have downloaded the software and have a disk image, you can use Daemon Tools to mount the image. When you mount a disk image, it is mounted to a virtual drive that acts just like a normal optical drive. Using Daemon Tools, you will be able to install Reason 4.

  • Navigate to the Reason 4 disk image on your computer.

  • Right-click the image. Click "Mount Image" and then "Add new IDE virtual drive and mount."

  • Click "Start" if the installer doesn't run automatically; click "Computer." Double-click the Reason 4 disk virtual drive. Setup will now begin.

  • Complete the onscreen instructions to finish installation. After you are finished, you will have successfully installed Reason 4 on your netbook.
