How to Change the Time on a Toshiba Phone System

Toshiba is an electronics corporation based in Tokyo, Japan. The company makes a range of electronics, including TVs, stereos and office telephone systems. If you have a Toshiba telephone system installed in your office, you can easily adjust the time settings for the entire network from one of the handsets. This procedure is useful during Daylight Savings Time or if the system time is incorrect.

Change the Time on a Toshiba CTX 100 Phone System

  • Press the "Hold" key on any handset.

  • Dial "##123*" (without quotation marks.) The display will change to "Password =".

  • Dial your four-digit system password. The default is "0000." Press "Hold" again when finished; the display will show "Prog =".

  • Dial "902" and press "Hold" again. The display will show "Select Param."

  • Press the "Line 1" button above the "Intercom" button.

  • Input the time in an HH/MM/SS format, using a 24-hour or military time format. For example, 2:02:14 p.m. will be entered as "140214." See Resources for help converting 12-hour time format to 24-hour time format. Press "Hold" twice when finished.

  • Lift and hang up the receiver. The new time will be confirmed.

Change the Time on a Toshiba Strata DK Telephone System

  • Go to the main or control handset for the phone system. This usually is extension 10 or 200.

  • Press "Intercom," then dial "#" followed by "652" (without quotation marks). On some systems, the "#" may not be necessary. Do not pick up the receiver.

  • Input the time in an HH/MM/SS format, using a 24-hour or military time format. For example, 2:02:14 p.m. will be entered as "140214." See Resources for help converting 12-hour time format to 24-hour time format. Press "Redial" when finished to confirm the new time setting.

Change the Time on a Toshiba DK 280 Telephone System

  • Press the "Intercom" button on the receptionist handset without lifting the receiver.

  • Dial "#" followed by "652" on the handset (without quotations marks).

  • Press "Speaker" to confirm the new time.

Change the Time on a Toshiba Perception Telephone System

  • Press the "DIS TOD" key on the main handset.

  • Input the date in the DD/MM/YY format by using the keypad.

  • Press the "DIS TOD" key again.

  • Input the time in an HH/MM/SS format, using a 24-hour or military time format. For example, 2:02:14 p.m. will be entered as "140214." See Resources for help converting 12-hour time format to 24-hour time format. Press "DIS TOD" a final time when finished to confirm the new time.
