How to Use Comcast Digital Voice Call Screening

Comcast offers digital phone services to subscribers in its coverage area. These phone services have many features including call screening at no additional cost. Call screening allows you to place up to 12 phone numbers on a list of blocked callers. These callers are greeted with a message that you are not accepting calls at the moment. Phone numbers with the prefix 900, 500, 700 and 976 cannot be screened using this service. You also cannot screen 411 or 911 calls. Once call screening is enabled, it can be disabled or modified at any time.

  • Dial "*60" from your Comcast phone line.

  • Follow the prompts to enable and add to your call-screening list.

  • Disconnect the call when you have completed your list.
