Program a Key FOB for a Dodge Grand Caravan

The Grand Caravan is one of more than a dozen Dodge vehicles that features keyless entry capabilities. This technology allows you to sync a remote to your van, and you can use the remote to pop your lock in a dark parking lot, open your trunk when your hands are full of groceries, or sound your panic alarm in a crowded parking lot. Programming the key fob for your Grand Caravan is quick and easy.

Instructions

    • 1

Enter your car and press the Lock button on your remote five times in 10 seconds.

    • 2

Insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the "Run" position. Wait for the car's chimes to stop before proceeding.

    • 3

Press and hold the Unlock button on your remote for four seconds and then hold the Panic button. Hold the two buttons together for one second and then release both and wait for the car to chime again.

    • 4

Press and release the Lock and Unlock buttons together, then press and release just the Unlock button.

    • 5

Wait for two chimes to sound. Turn the ignition to the "Off" position to end the programming sequence.
