Instructions

    • 1

Obtain patterns for the shapes you want to cut out. You can print out shapes that you like from a computer program or from the Internet, or you can draw the shapes by hand on a sheet of paper. Cut out the patterns.

    • 2

Pin a pattern onto a piece of felt. You may want to pin the pattern in the middle and at any corners and points.

    • 3

Trace the pattern onto the felt with a black felt marker. Make sure you are tracing the corners and points of the shapes.

    • 4

Cut around the traced marks on the felt with dull scissors. Throw the extra felt away, or save it for another project.

Tips & Warnings

  • Using new scissors to cut felt will dull your scissors.

  • Use different colors of felt for a variety of shapes.
