How to Check the Ink Levels in an HP OfficeJet 5610

The HP Officejet 5610 inkjet printer prints by way of an HP 27 standard-capacity or 56 high-capacity black inkjet cartridge and an HP 22 tri-color inkjet cartridge, or an optional HP 58 photo inkjet cartridge and the tricolor cartridge. Whether you need to check the ink levels before a large print job because of a low ink warning, or need to determine the number of new cartridges you should purchase when buying supplies, HP has provided you with a quick method of checking the estimated ink levels in the Printer Toolbox in the HP Solution Center software on your computer.

Instructions

1. Click the HP Solution Center icon on your desktop twice to open the HP Solution Center, or go to "Start," "All Programs," "HP" and then click "HP Solution Center" on the HP menu.

2. Open the Printer Toolbox within the HP Solution Center. Select "Settings," "Print Settings" and "Printer Toolbox."

3. Select the "Estimated Ink Levels" tab to check the estimated ink levels for your HP Officejet 5610 black and tricolor, or photo and tricolor inkjet cartridges.
