How to Make Your Own Headphone Hoodie
Do you want to tune out without getting caught? With a headphone hoodie you can listen to music or sports without anyone knowing. It's perfect for boring classes, long lectures or boring mealtimes. Making your headphone hoodie is quick and easy, too. It will take a thirty minutes to an hour, and you don't need expensive equipment or technical experience.
Things You'll Need
- Hoodie with a front pocket
- Headphones with extra long wires
- Duct tape
- Sharp scissors
- iPod, Mp3 player, XM radio or other music device.
Instructions

1
Find a loose hoodie with a front pocket.
-
2
Cut a small hole inside the front pocket of your hoodie, just big enough for the headphone wires to fit through when your music device is inside the pocket. Because your music device will be resting inside the pocket, rather than in a fabric pouch, you will be able to change stations or skip songs easily.

3
Turn your hoodie inside out. Arrange with the wires in place in the hole and secure with duct tape.
-
4
Place the part of the headphone wires where the two wires separate at the front of the neck-hole, around where your collar-bone will be, and secure it with more duct tape.
-
5
Arrange each separate wire so it lies inside the hood, making sure it is not too close to the rim of the hood, or it will be visible. Use a piece of tape for every one or two inches of wire, to keep the wire secure. Some headphone hoodies feed the wires through holes in the hood, but that is a bad idea because the wires are visible. The last piece of wire should be about 4 inches from the earphone, taped close to where your ear will be.

6
Put on your hoodie, plug in your music and enjoy.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure you or whoever does your laundry does not put your headphone hoodie in the wash. If you need to wash your hoodie you will have to remove the earphones and attach them again afterwards.
