How to Uninstall a Virtual Audio Cable


A Virtual Audio Cable delivers the audio between different audio applications on your computer. The application is a multimedia driver and features tools to control volume, record and transfer the stream to an unlimited number of applications. Uninstall the Virtual Audio Cable with the Windows uninstaller utility if it starts causing errors on your computer or if you no longer use the program.

  • Click "Start" and "Control Panel." Click the "Programs" icon and select the link for "Programs and Features."

  • Click the "Virtual Audio Cable" entry in the list of installed programs and click the "Uninstall" button at the top of the list. Enter an administrator password if prompted by the computer.

  • Click "Next" in the Uninstaller Welcome window that opens and click "Remove All" to initiate the uninstall process. Click "Done" in the notification message to close the Uninstaller.

  • Restart your computer to save the changes to its configuration and permanently remove the Virtual Audio Cable files from your computer.
