How to Adjust My Magnavox Smart Series TV

The Magnavox Smart Series television is a tube style, color television set. The size of these televisions may range from 20 inches up to 32 inches or larger. When the picture is too dark or does not look right, it will need to be adjusted. This is done by using the remote control for the TV. You have the option to adjust the television automatically using Smart Picture, or by using manual settings.

Instructions

Smart Picture

1. Press the "Smart Picture" button on the remote. This will display the current setting for the Smart Picture option.

2. Press the "Smart Picture" button to scroll through the available options. You may select "Weak Signal," "Movies," "Sports" and "Personal."

3. Select "Personal" to manually change the picture options for the television.

Manual Adjustment

1. Press the "Menu" button on the remote control to display the menu on the screen.

2. Press the "CH-" button or channel down button to display the "Picture" sub-menu on the screen.

3. Press the "CH-" or "Ch+" buttons to scroll through the picture adjustment options. You have the choice of "Color," "Brightness," "Sharpness," "Tint," "Blue Back" or "C. Temp."

4. Highlight and option you want and press the "Vol+" or "Vol-" buttons to increase or decrease the setting.

5. Press the "Menu" button to close each sub-menu and the main menu screen.

Tips & Warnings

• The option for "Blue Back" is for the background and "C. Temp" is for the color temperature.

• All options for Smart Picture are set manually, except for "Personal."
