How to Convert PS to PDF With Freeware
Both postscript (PS) and PDF files were created by Adobe Systems as image file types, and they are very similar. The free Adobe Reader cannot read files with the .ps extension, however. If you come across a .ps file and need to read it, you can do so with several commercial products from Adobe, such as Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Illustrator. If you do not want to pay for a program, several freeware programs exist that can convert postscript files into PDFs.
