How to Send Cards to Wounded American Soldiers

How to Send Cards to Wounded American Soldiers thumbnail
Wounded soldiers need extra support.

Soldiers of every type like to know they have the support of their country, and wounded soldiers often need an extra boost to overcome the injuries received during their service to our country. Often hospitalized for months on end and far from home, cards from fellow citizens can boost morale and add joy to a tedious and painful rehabilitation period. If you'd like to encourage a wounded American soldier by sending cards, you'll be doing a service both to the soldier and to the country she was fighting for when she was injured.

Instructions

    • 1

Log on to the Soldiers' Angels website, which is available in the Resource Section, and join Soldiers' Angels by filling out your personal information. You will be asked to enter your name, address, phone number and email address, and you will need to choose a user name in order to join the program.

    • 2

Sign up to become a member of The Wounded TLC Team. As a Wounded TLC Team member, you will be supplied with the contact information for one or more wounded soldiers.

    • 3

Send at least one card or letter to your soldier each week. This will fulfill your commitment to the program, and ensure that a wounded soldier has continued support and knows he has not been forgotten.
