How to Sync Facebook Events and Birthdays to Outlook
Facebook has become one of the most-used websites for keeping track of birthdays and planning events, thanks to its massive popularity as a social network. With so many people using Facebook to keep up with friends and family, the site is ideal for managing invites to parties, shows, meals and other social events. Exporting the events and birthday calendar from Facebook to your central Microsoft Outlook calendar is a simple process, thanks to a Facebook application that is designed to provide sync capabilities with a number of calendar providers.

Log in to Facebook.

Navigate to the Facebook Calendar application (fdCal) page.

Click on "Get your calendars now."

Click "Allow" to authorize the application to access your events and birthday data.

Click the Outlook calendar icon for events to open the calendar in Outlook and then click on "Yes" to add the calendar to Outlook and sync event information between Facebook and Outlook. You may need to specify that Outlook is the default program for calendar data.

Click the Outlook calendar icon for birthdays, and then click "Yes" again to subscribe to the Facebook birthday calendar. You will now see events and birthdays from Facebook displayed in Microsoft Outlook.
