View television programming on two different DVR systems.

AT&T U-Verse is a system that brings television, phone service and Internet into your home through a series of fiber optic cables (made up of small, plastic tubes that transmit data in the form of light signals, which is faster than using a standard electrical wire). If you have two DVRs set up when using AT&T U-Verse, you are able to record television programming on one TV, then view the programming on the second connected television.

Instructions

    • 1

Press the "Guide" button on the DVR's remote control, then select the program you want to record and push "Record." Once the program has finished it loads onto the device's stored drive.

    • 2

Power on the second DVR, then press the "Recorded Television" button on the device's remote control. All recorded programs, including the content from the other DVR, is displayed on the screen.

    • 3

Select the recorded content, then push "Play." The content from the other U-Verse DVR now begins to play on the second connected television.
