How to Insert a Cup Into Baseball Slider Shorts
When men choose not to wear a protective cup while playing sports, they are leaving themselves vulnerable to injury. Though a cup is something that is easy to use and takes just seconds to get in the right position, some men still refuse to wear a cup. The most common reasons men don't wear a protective cup is because it is uncomfortable and restricts movement. Inserting a cup into baseball slider shorts is easy to do and is highly recommended to reduce or prevent injury.

1
Purchase slider shorts that have a cup pocket. Most of them will have elastic that helps keep the cup in place.
-
2
Don't wear anything underneath the slider shorts. You want your genitals to be held tightly against the body so if you do get hit there, you have maximum protection.

-
3
Place the cup over your genitals so that it fits tightly. If it is loose and moves around, a blow could cause the cup to slam against your genitals and cause a great deal of pain.
-
4
Wear tight-fitting spandex briefs if the slider shorts don't hold the cup tight enough. The spandex briefs will make the shorts and cup fit tighter so you will be better protected.

Tips & Warnings
If you are using a cup for the first time, you will notice some discomfort. Before playing a game, put on the cup and do some running and jumping to make yourself comfortable with it and to be sure it fits properly.
Just because you are wearing a cup doesn't mean you won't get hurt if you get hit there. It will lessen the blow, but depending on how hard the impact is, you may still feel some pain.
