How to Find the Manual Line Break in Microsoft Excel
Trying to find an invisible character in an Excel spreadsheet can be overwhelming and frustrating if you have to search one cell at a time. But with the use of the numeric keyboard and the Find command, this once challenging task can be quickly handled.

Highlight the cell or cells you want to search using your mouse and cursor.

Make sure the "Num Lock" key is clicked on by checking the "Num Lock" light on your computer. If the light is off, click the "Num Lock" key once.

Press the keys "Ctrl" and the "F" key at the same time to bring up the "Find" tab of the "Find and Replace" dialog box.

Move the cursor into the box labeled "Find What."

Press the "Alt" key and then, on the numeric keyboard, type the numbers 0010. You might not see any characters in the text box, but that is normal.

Click the button labeled "Find Next" and your cursor will jump to the cell with the manual line break.

Tips & Warnings
If you hear the computer beep when pressing the numbers 0010, make sure you are using the number keys on the numeric keyboard, not the keys along the top row of the main keyboard.
If this doesn't work, make sure the "Num Lock" key is depressed.
