How to Change the Delimiter in a CSV File
A comma separated value (CSV) file is a text file presented in a spreadsheet format. Each data set or cell is separated by a delimiter. The easiest way to create a CSV file is by using spreadsheet software. Spreadsheet software automatically inserts delimiters to separate cell data. CSV files can also be created in text editors such as Notepad. The default delimiter for CSV files is a comma; however, this can be changed.
