Check out the Internet for paintball fields in your area. Go to a major search engine like Yahoo or Google and type in the phrase "paintball fields" along with the name of your town or county.
Step2
Check the yellow pages under "paintball." If no fields are listed, call the stores and ask.
Step3
Check out "Action Pursuit Games Magazine." It usually provides a store and field directory in the back of every issue. (The magazine also sells a store and field directory that you can order.)
Step4
Call the field and get directions, hours and prices. Find out what gear they supply, and what you'll need to bring.
Step5
Arrive at the field early and prepared. Most fields charge a flat rate for a full day of playing.
Tips & Warnings
If you're going to walk on to a field, it's generally more fun if you go with some friends.
You can usually rent anything you need - guns, masks, balls, CO2 - from the field.
If you have a paintball team, you can all go to the field and play together as a team. Sometimes the field will let you play as a team against all the walk-ons. Talk to the field director.
At any paintball field, you must have a barrel plug for your gun to prevent any accidental firings.

When you peek around corners, do not expose your shoulders, body, legs, or arms. Only expose your head. Do not hold a gun while peeking around corners, due to the chance of people firing at you.
