How to Switch Between Parallels & OSX

Parallels Desktop for Mac allows you to install and run Microsoft Windows on a Mac. Parallels offers a number of viewing modes that determine how Parallels integrates with the rest of OS X when it is running. Using the Full Screen Mode means the Windows operating system running through Parallels is the only thing you will see. To return to OS X, you will need to use a hot-key combination.
