Instructions

    • 1

      Open the hood and secure it with the safety latch.

      Remove the retaining ring. The retaining ring is located on the back of the headlight assembly and secures the bulb in place. Loosen the retaining ring by rotating it counterclockwise, then remove it from the headlight assembly.

      Remove the headlight bulb. Pull the harness out that contains the bulb and wiring connector. Pull on the plastic retaining clip to remove it from the wiring connector. The bulb is now accessible and can be pulled straight out of the headlight assembly.

      Install the new bulb. Push the bulb into the socket while wearing rubber gloves.

      Reattach the plastic retaining clip. The clip will easily snap into place.

      Place the harness and wiring connector back into the headlight assembly.

      Rotate the plastic retaining ring to secure it into the headlight assembly.

      Test the headlight. Turn the headlights on to ensure proper installation.

Tips & Warnings

  • It is important to wear rubber gloves when installing the new bulb. Oil from bare fingers can greatly shorten the life of your bulb.
