How to Recover the Windows Recycling Bin
The Recycle Bin feature in Windows allows users to delete files without permanently erasing them from the hard drive. This option was built in to help users recover accidentally deleted files. The operating system moves your personal files to the Recycle Bin by default if you press the "Delete" button. This feature is presented as a regular recycle bin icon on your desktop. In Windows 7 the icon is not displayed, but you can recover the Recycle Bin if you like the icon on your desktop with a few simple steps.
