1
Place the mirror in front of you, at eye level and ensure that you have adequate lighting in the room.
-
2
Comb your right eyebrow upward using the fine-toothed comb, so that all the hairs are straightened out. This way, the stray hairs are easily seen. To make sure that the eyebrow hairs stay in place, dab a bit of water on them.

Trim the hairs that stand out. Angle the scissors about 15 to 20 degrees from your skin. Now you will be able to cut the hairs easily and avoid piercing your skin with the edge of the scissors. Make sure that you trim up to the top edge of your eyebrow. Trimming them too short will give you stubby eyebrow hair.

4
Comb your eyebrow downward using the fine-toothed comb. Trim the hairs that stand out below the natural shape of your eyebrow. Again make sure that you trim up to the level of your lower eyebrow.
-
5
Comb the hair upward again to check if there are any excess hairs that you missed. If there are still some hairs left, comb downwards again and trim them.
-
6
Repeat Steps 2 through 5 for your other eyebrow.
-
7
