How to Remove the Obfuscator Virus
The Obfuscator virus, also known as Trojan.Obfus.Gen, opens a security hole or "backdoor" on your computer. Once the security hole opens, remote hackers can use it to download additional viruses onto your computer. Moreover, remote hackers can use the security hole to access the personal information stored on your computer. This may include online banking passwords and social security numbers. Note that the removal steps described in this article apply to the Windows Vista and 7 operating systems.
