How to Make an Ice Ring for a Punch Bowl

Save

Dinner parties aren't complete without a fruity punch for guests to sip on while chatting and mingling. Give your punch some retro flair with a decorative ice ring. Try adding fruit, edible flowers, mint or juice to your ice ring to impart flavor and add some extra color to your punch. The ring formation actually stays solid longer than small cubes so not only is your ring pretty, it's practical, too.

Things You'll Need

  • 10 inch Bundt pan
  • 3 cups water
  • Freezer
  • Carefully pour the water into the Bundt pan until it is about half full.

  • Place the Bundt pan on a level surface inside your freezer. Allow the ring to remain in the freezer for at least four years and preferably overnight.

  • Remove the pan from the freezer. Run cold water over the Bundt pan to the release the ice.

  • Place the ice ring into the bottom of your punch bowl and fill with your favorite punch.
