Instructions

    • 1

Gather the spare tire, lug nut wrench, torque wrench and jack from your truck's cargo area and place them near the flat tire. Loosen the lug nuts with the torque wrench but do not remove them all the way.

    • 2

Place the jack under the truck between the front and rear tires nearest the one that's flat. Jack up the truck enough so the tire is off the ground completely.

    • 3

Use the lug nut wrench to remove the lug nuts the rest of the way from the Nissan's tire. Pull the flat tire off the axle. Place the spare tire onto the axle and replace the lug nuts with the lug nut wrench. Tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern to ensure that the tire goes on evenly as it is secured to the axle.

    • 4

Release the jack to lower the tire back to the ground. Use the torque wrench to fully tighten the lug nuts to the wheel. They should be on tight enough that they cannot be loosened or removed by hand.
