      Open the door as wide as possible. Pull the door handle and remove the Phillips head screw behind it. Remove the Phillips head screws that hold in the accent lights along the bottom of the door.

      Pull out the control panel that holds the door locks and window controls. It should come out from the panel with gentle pressure from a flat head screwdriver. Disconnect the wiring from behind the control panel.

      Pry up the bottom corner of the door panel by placing the flat head screwdriver or your finger between the door and door panel. Pry the panel away from the door carefully. There are plastic clips holding the panel to the door spaced 3 inches apart along the left, right and bottom of the door panel. Pull up along the edges of the panel until each one pops out.

      Lift up on the door panel to unhinge it from the top ledge near the window. Disconnect the remaining wiring connector for the control panel.

  • Put all small parts and screws inside a container to keep them together for re-installation.
