How to Change a Cabin Air Filter in a Nissan Versa

How to Change a Cabin Air Filter in a Nissan Versa thumbnail
A philips screwdriver is used to complete this project.

Most Nissan Versa models are equipped with an in-cabin microfilter, also known as a cabin air filter. The cabin air filter restricts pollen, dust and debris from flowing through the air conditioning system into the passenger cabin. Cabin air filters are effective at keeping odors from outside the car from entering the ventilation system. Nissan recommends replacing the filter every 15,000 miles or once per year. If you drive the Versa in heavy traffic or on dusty roads, the filter can get dirty more quickly. These instructions apply to the 2010 Nissan Versa.
